Canon Details |
Avengers Academy reimagined the Avengers and many other Marvel figures as teenagers engaging in wacky high school(?) superhero hijinks. The AU happens when Thanos comes for the Infinite Stones that Nick Fury had hidden under the campus. Despite a valiant effort, including several lengthy dance-a-thons, he got the Stones and initiated the Snap. Cue end of wacky hijinks.
One year later, an undead god named King offered Natasha a deal. Play a game, get a wish. She took it. Cue another year of teamnesia murdercave as Widow(maker) of Hydra. |

High School AU Black Widow: independent, impatient, arrogant, paranoid, driven, and probably thinks you're annoying and/or useless. Can't stand secrets. Hungry for information, mistrusts the people who control or withhold it (herself an exception, of course). Knows how to manipulate people but not relate to them. Definitely doesn't know how to slow down and think ahead. Grudgingly developed one (1) friendship feeling for her friends.
Filter that through Teamnesia Murdercave: crank up the paranoia and drive, crank up the pragmatism and ruthlessness. Way more comfortable with violence. Even more withdrawn from friendship and feelings. Way more invested in the concept of team. More protective instincts, less self-esteem. Holding herself together with the conviction that she needs to handle this, and she will, because she's the only one who can.
She arrived wearing most of a Hydra uniform: black tank top, green one-piece utility jumpsuit, green bandanna, swamp boots and socks. In Sid she'll mix and match that with whatever clothes are available from the Storeroom and other shops, but will always wear the bandanna around her neck. |

100% human and 100% highly trained teenage spy. She has many skills in canon but has only dubiously recalled some of them due to the patchiness of her memories. (Full list here.) She's still got most of that kicking around her muscle memory though.
On top of that, the murdercave has made her WAY better at ad hoc first aid, hunting, fishing, butchery, gardening, tattoo care, and various other wilderness survival skills. |
Permissions |
Widow is a paranoid and touchy character who fairly quick to get to violence. She won't jump straight to stab, but you can probably expect her to pull a knife. She is likely to take sudden movements and attempts to touch her very poorly; feel free to try, just know she's going to evade or brush it off roughly. Please get in touch if you ever have any questions!
